Yes, indeed - I caught it in Atlanta last weekend. The movie is still
weighing pretty heavy on my mind. At times is was as painful and
cringe-inducing as re-living adolescence, but I mean that it's an enjoyable
discomfort. (?) I wasn't too crazy about the AIR soundtrack until I saw the
movie - now it all comes together. All around, Virgin Suicides is a humorous
piece with beautiful scenery, beautiful cast and beautiful music. It's
definitely not a light-hearted movie. Did anyone catch the repetition of
imagery of things in groups of four?
I can't wait to pursue the book!
