i totally don't want to add to the nonsensicalness of this thread but
basically if you have a UNIX account which is what i assume you mean by
text access then you *do* have web access ( sort of) all you need to do is
type
lynx www.whateverwhatever.com
and you can check it out. it's all text which is a bit less fun though.
as elson mentioned to me the only way to have email only was through aol
or somethng like that.
sorry for the geekout i just thought it was an odd thing to say on a
listserv.
