    I'lld say soul (this encompasses several musical
    genres reggae of the horace andy school, some house.)

    Fader magazine do an amazing edition on soul its got
    Beck and D'Angelo on the cover vol 2 issue 3 Spring
    2000, nice work if u can ... its got some nice pieces
    by Bobitto and other underground hip hop djs talking
    about soul and soul artists.

    I do not work for thefader.com, so this is purely a
    public interest announcement.

    Who are the most soulful emcees ever? I'lld say Ice
    Cube (a good day, this is how we do it), Mos Def,
    Common, Q-Tip in his earlier incarnation as the
    abstract poetic who else.

    peace out
