    I like Another Story too, though it's interesting to hear how much Pine's
    style has changed since the early 90s, when he was sounding like late
    Coltrane!

    Scofield (I think) just released a new album, in the vein of the A go go
    stuff (minus Medeski, Martin and Wood). Another cool album is the Blue
    Note album "New Directions," which consists of covers of funky standards
    from the 60s Blue Note records; Greg Osby is on there with some up and
    coming players. It's all acoustic, but borrows a lot of inflections from
    hip hop and drum and bass (see the Sidewinder cover).
