    hey youse,

    my g/f's gonna be in town from wednesday until next tuesday. anything in the realm of jazz, blues, international (especially latin & african), hiphop (non-jiggy), or other beat music that incorporates the previous would be good. she's a little picky about venues, though--she's not into places that are crowded, smoky, in dicey a neighborhoods (she might be going alone), or without seating. if anyone knows any gigs that qool marv is playing during that time--hip me, i want her to meet him (he's the qoolest!!)
