    Yellow Productions

Bossa Mundo...When Brazil Meets the World

featuring: François K., DJ Yellow, MKL, and live vocals by Salomé de Bahia.

More then just a concept, the phenomenon of Brazilian culture is something
that radiates a funk and soul that has boiled over into everything. From
African, Portuguese, Japanese and South American, the Brazilian color and
sound is rich and unmistakeable. On Friday June 2, 2000, Los Angeles has the
rare oppurtunity to be a part of a turntable berimbau gumbo where some of
the worlds great dance music pioneers, producers and djs, including house
music godfather, Francois K. (Wave Music), 1/3 of the Body & Soul NYC
collective, DJ Yellow, and MKL, share ideas and rhythms with Brazilian
masters. Samba do house? Direct from Salvador comes vocalist Salome de
Bahia, who on Bossa Mundo sings Stevie Wonder's classic "Another Star" .

with Los Angeles's own music afficionados Marques Wyatt (Deep) and Tony
    Watson (more)
