That is pretty weak, to disband because you aren't popular anymore. At
least they get played on commercial radio (which, to me, is a discredit).
Thank goodness real musicians that comprise good bands that make grand music
don't disband just because they don't get radio play. The deep music is
what keeps musicians of the like that we usually talk about motivated.
Thank goodness for public radio (both NPR and freeform)! There is nothing
behind music that is 100% comercially backed, which this certainly sounds
like. SP is just as bad as Britney Spears! Will she still be around when
she isn't commercially viable either? Of course NOT!

And I wish that he would cut out with that fake english voice, drenched in
uglyness. I would rather listen to Phil Collins (and/or Genesis), Sting, or
Ozzy Ozborne anyday (as they make good music, and aren't fake). Real goth
music isn't very comercially viable anyways (as it is drenched in
etherialism). SP needs to stand for Skinny Puppy again, please! Trent
Reznor (NIN in general) and Pearl Jam (but grunge, not goth) like their
semi-lowly states in the public eye. Heck, Kurt Cobain killed himself for
it! Well, he killed himself because he was tramatized over what fame was
doing to him and his very personal art. Anyways, Billy sounds like that
other fake, the puppet Marylin Manson, always whining about the poppish
    state of popular music.

Chicago is a beautiful town with a beautiful music scene (jazz cats, house,
chicago blues, GrooveDis, Liquid Soul, Westly Willis, Chicago, some of
Earth, Wind & Fire) What a blemish Smashing Pumpkins are to it.
