I have to agree, though, that definitions of rock and stadiums and techno are getting to be a bit much. Defining Acid Jazz, I think, varies from individual to individual. Like the genre of Jazz itself, it's not a one-size-fits-all thing
(in my opinion).
For me, its a melding of different rhythms and flavors from different genres--bebop, afro-cuban, brazilian, soul, R&B, funk, hip-hop and others.
All coming together into a delicious blend brewed up fresh for your aural perversion... Yum.
