Hi.
For my next musical project, I plan to create a track composed entirely
of screams. The sampled screams would first be overdosed with effects
and generally fucked around with severely, and looped and added to one
another 'till I end up with something funky.
So what I'm looking for are a few good 'rock 'n' roll' screams. If you
know of a brilliant scream from any sort of music, I'd be forever
grateful (those who have the ability to do this), if you could record
the actual scream and send it to me as an mp3 file. Just a second or two
either side of the actual scream. Screams without music are preferred,
but anything would do. Short screams, low moans, huge yells, grunts,
anything like that. Those bits that make you want to scream along with
them.
The Stooges 'TV Eye' has always been the one for me, and there was a
extremely long, blood-curdling moan/scream on the B-side of an early
Siouxsie & the Banshees single. Always loved a good scream.
