Erik & All,
I think the score soundtrack will be pretty good. I don't know if one exist
but as mentioned there is a soundtrack available that will sell to the
public per se.
As for an actual score that is what I'll be looking for(I guess I'll be
doing business with Groove Distro for the score). The begining of the movie
has some excellent Flamenco music and dancing. The looks that Thadie Newton
gives are priceless. The Flamenco creates a great mood. So if there isn't
a score and if anyone out there is jones'in for some great atmospheric
Flamenco look for Gino D'Auri's first release on the Sonic Atmospheres
label. I can't remember the title of the CD and I don't have it here at
this locale.

Well, the original is very good, Simply Vinly of England has it out
on double LP heavy vinyl. But, not so sure about the more recent
ones. I think Eric Serra (did many a Luc Besson movie "La Femme
Nikita", "Metro", "THe Fifth Element"), and the title track was
remixed/reinterpereted by Moby. The MI:2 soundtrack that's out now
is mosly filled with bad rock/hip-hop mutants and hard rock stuff.
Not sure if the'll release the score.

There is also a Dimitri from Paris remix from the Sérialement Vôtre
compilation from the French Commando Records, which isn't too bad,
but, does stick to the very recognizable theme (with a "Neutron
Dance" quote), but, that 5/4 does give one a bit of a stumble. (The
comp I've got also includes versions of Hawaii 5-0, Le Prisonnier and
Chapeau Melon et Bottes de Cuir (The Avengers).)
