Speaking of that crew, I picked up the "Jungle Funk" LP yesterday (I
remember SNC reviewing this *ages* ago, but it was the first time I'd ever
seen a sign of it on sale.) Jungle Funk is basically Doug Wimbish, Will
Calhoun (from Living Color) and Vinx (who put out three _excellent_ solo LPs
in the early 90's.) I've got to admit I'd probably have bought it on the
basis of any one of those people alone, let alone all three together. Skip
McDonald does appear on one track. There is some really nice stuff on this
album. It covers a lot of bases, from some rocky stuff to some (pretty
successful) live drum & bass - the boys have clearly been listening to some
4Hero. The track "Worship" is fantastic.

Wimbish also has a solo LP out on On-U too, according to SNC.

PS: I have seen Little Axe live. 30 is sadly a good guess.

    ..Mark..
