Yeah, picked it up awhile ago and I have to agree, fantastic...and once I'm
at it...It's not AJ, not even shiki-shiki, but...
Denise mentioned Thom Yorke duet and it reminded me of a concert I went to
last week, Muse. Those guys could become pretty interesting at some point,
heck, they're interesting right now. The lead singer has an incredible
voice, doing radioheaddish, portisheaddis sort of songs in addition to their
"regular", more brit rock/pop ensemble. Thom Yorke might even become jealous
seeing someone doing his thing and playing guitar at the same time :)
It's a new band, young guys, haven't really got their act together as of
yet. But like I said, well worth checking out, definite potential. Funny
enough, I did listen to a couple of their CDs before going to the concert,
but the best bit was not on either one of those, so I'd definitely look out
for a concert...
Cheers,
/P

I have to second Stimp's opinion here and am wayyy glad he mentioned it
on this list 'cause while, at the surface, there seems to be no relation
to 'our' tastes, dig deep into it and you realize that a lot of the
layers and textures do parallel those of much of what we discuss here.
It's simply an amazing rock record. Patti Smith fans definitely have to
check it as her influence on PJ has never been more apparent. Also, the
track that's a duet with Thom Yorke (Radiohead) has some of the most
beautiful, interesting vocal interplay I've heard in a while. Loving
this. Thanks for mentioning it Stimp. :-)
