Hi folks! I'm sorry to say that my playlist posts and web site maintenance
have gotten waaay behind, due to various commitments and time pressures.
However, attached is my playlist from last Sunday. Previous weeks' playlists
    should arrive later today.

Tonight's "Jazzadelica" will be an all-vinyl blowout, featuring 4 hours of
recent singles, 12"s and EPs that are (as far as I know) only available on
vinyl. CD lovers: prepare to tape! :-)

ALBUM OF THE WEEK: RESIDUE by Hefner (Inertia Records).
Those of us enamored by the first couple of Hefner EP's have had a long wait
for this debut album from Lee Jones. But it was definitely worth the wait.
RESIDUE retains the cinematic slant of his earlier EP's but adds a pop
sensibility, via some lovely vocals by Josee Hurlock. The most apt sonic
comparisons would probably be The Cinematic Orchestra or Les
Gammas...artists who find strength in subtlety...as this is an understated
    but beautiful record.
