Hey List!!!,
I have been watching the post and usually as I buy things the list is
talking about it. I love it! I absolutely love the fact that the music is
out there and people are still listening! Well enough of the mushy "i miss
the list" type stuff, heres some things that haven't really been mentioned
(or it may have been and I just missed it:):
Rachelle Ferrelle - Individuality
Not as piano Jazzy as the last one but she can still sing her ass off!!!
Ugly faces and all, in my mind one of the best if not the best female
vocalist out there!
Deltron 3000
Kid Koala, The automator, and Del the funky homosapien combine to take you
all to the year 3000. It's all about the 7min plus second song on the album
3030. For those of you who forgot Del is still lyrics first!
Pharcyde - Plain Rap
Solid album from the now trio outta cali. Super melodic, a must for those
who like lush scenery with their music. The first track "trust" is the shit.
DJ Cam - The LOA Project (volume II)
Why is DJ Cam the truth. He proves to me anyway that the spirit of doing
real hip-hop is nowhere near dead. A lot of people are out there complaining
and he is out hrere doing it. It could be released in the states on
commercial radio, but if you think people were buggin over Eminem, wait till
they hear Cam. Then they would leave him alone again cause he actually KNOWS
the music and isn't trying to put his wife in a trunk.
Strange Games and Funky Things III Mixed by Kenny Dope
GO GET THIS! IT IS ESSENTIAL TO ANY COLLECTION LIKE THE OCEAN TO EARTH! This
is an awesome three disc set. The first disc is mixed the other two is the
mixed cd broken down into singles. The classics include Ramp-Daylight, Don
Blackmon-Loving You, holding you, Labi Siffe-I got that, and my personal
favorite Johnny "gitar" WIlson- Supaman Lover. This is the shit point blank
any more questions ask me.:)
Los Amigos Invsibles - Arepa 3000
Boogie!! This one is funky! What the hell is goin on in Argentina and why
arent I there! From listening to this album people are just a little happier
down there then they are in other places. Check out their single "Amor".
Da Lata - Songs from the tin
I've been waiting for this album since the rebirth of cool single "ponteio".
These cats arent even from brazil but they fake it well.:) My favorite cut
is "Cores". I dont know what it means but it sounds good!
Oh well theres the short list:). Just wanted to put more music out
there...oh and by the way OUTKAST RULES ( I know it aint acid Jazz but
theyr'e good anyway!)
peace
Ralph C.
ps-watch out fo e:trinty!;)
