I think the distinction to be made is whether there is a 2 second pause
between tracks or not. A more subtle criterion would be whether you could
throw the CD on random mode and it would still sound OK.
For example, tosca's Suzuki has every song mixed with every other... the
result is the same effect as a 'mix cd'... but if you apply the second
criterion to it, then it does not pass as a 'mix cd', because the album
sounds dope regardless of the order the tracks are played in.
By the way this album deserves mention in this thread anyway... in
response to the original poster's question about good beats to ease the
commute, i cant recommend this one enough....
