Hey guys,
Just heard some cuts from the new Erykah Badu album "Mama's Gun", and I must
admit I'm so far impressed. Up until now, I was beginning to feel that
Badu's mystique had lost its flavor especially listening to some of her more
recent singles. With the strength of artistry shown by singers like Jill
Scott, Ms. Badu had to show that she's not victim to the fad she helped
create.
Behind the scenes there's James Poyser back on production; Jay Dee (Slum
Village, Pharcyde, Tribe Called Quest); Bilal (the crooner highlighted on
Common's album- check out his album due early next year and current single
'Soul Sista'); and Steven Marley.
Make sure you give it a listen when it comes out next week!
