Just heard some cuts from the new Erykah Badu album "Mama's Gun", and I must 
admit I'm so far impressed. Up until now, I was beginning to feel that 
Badu's mystique had lost its flavor especially listening to some of her more 
recent singles. With the strength of artistry shown by singers like Jill 
Scott, Ms. Badu had to show that she's not victim to the fad she helped 
create.
Behind the scenes there's James Poyser back on production; Jay Dee (Slum 
Village, Pharcyde, Tribe Called Quest); Bilal (the crooner highlighted on 
Common's album- check out his album due early next year and current single 
'Soul Sista'); and Steven Marley.
Make sure you give it a listen when it comes out next week!
