The new Omar CD has been out for two weeks now. It's quite nice and has some
big and no-so-big names guesting on it (Erykah Badu, Kele Le Roc, Chris
Ballin, Max Beasley-on triangle??!!). If you like Omar we also have Julie
Dexter's debut CD-EP in stock now as well. And the Hefner album is fantastic
and is absolutely worth picking up.

1) Disco Forever compiled by Dimitri from Paris
2) Jazzanova the remixes 1997-2000
3) Sade - Lovers Rock
4) Broasted or Fried (Latin boogaloo and breakbeat comp on Harmless)
5) Inspirations volume 1: King Britt
6) Version Excursion (soul/jazz/funk comp on Harmless)
(alright, so there's a few too many compilations there, I can't help it! :)
that new Hefner album has been getting a lot of talk on the list lately so
you might want to consider that as well.. I haven't picked it up yet, but
it's definitely on my list. By the way, has anyone picked up that new Bob
Sinclar album? Any thoughts? I know his stuff can be on the cheesy side at
times, but I have to admit, I enjoyed his first album. I'm still waiting
for that new Omar to drop (anyone got a release date?) and the new Jimi
Tenor..
