Ill ditto this. They really cater to the downtempo and house and D+B
    crossover downtempo crowd.
Ironically they sell no dub whatsoever. Arrive on the right day and
you might catch Loft godfather David Mancuso working behind the
    counter.

    >>Rebel Rebel / 319 Bleeker St. (between Christopher St. and Seventh Ave.)

they have a great selection, but beware, they have no turntables. If
your nice to the owner though, he'll throw on a few selections for
    you.

For odd stuff (warp-rephlex-krautrock-experimental-indie) and a
    decent downtempo selection:
Other Music (on 4th and Broadway. )
Also dont have turntables, but if your looking for that rare limited
edition 7" split Fatcat single with a couple of no name Scottish
    twats on one side and
    Aphex-Twin-under-yet-another-pseudonym-playing-a-buzzsaw on the
other, then this is the place for you ;-) .
Oh and be sure to check under the record bins as the occasional K7
promo turns up there for cheaps!
