The Macy Gray backlash is so funny. She was hyped by a lot of people by this
site. Being afraid of the hype, i bought the CD long time later it was
issued, and this is really cool (I even like her voice!!!). Obviously, she
sold a lot, got a few awards, and she is now officially uncool. This is very
typical...
I could not care to notice the comment about chines food not being filling.
I guess this is due to the fact that American often skip eating rice, which
is the basis / main staple of a Chinese meal. Most dishes are supposed to be
eaten with rice.
Strangely enough, a lot of Chinese consider western food not to be
filling!!!

>-GOLDFRAPP- Felt Mountain. Man o' man, I can't say enough good things
>about this record! Think Trip-Hop with orchestrations lush and complex
>enough to do Ennio Morricone proud, with haunting female vocals that bring
>Miss Shirley Bassey to mind, and there you have it. Believe me, it's

>-Sade- Lover's Rock: Good, but not great, got put to the side too quickly
>for my taste, so I'm not sure if this one's gonna stand the test of time.
>Considering that it's been 8 years since her last, I'm a little

>-Erykah Badu- Machine Gun: Straight up funk, pure and simple. Great
>grooves, but again, I don't know why, but I ain't playin' this one to

>-John Zorn's Masada- Live in Seville- This record just knocks me on my
