ALBUM OF THE WEEK: CLUB AFRICA 2. London DJ Russ Dewbury returns with
another funky collection of Afro-rhythms on the Strut label. Included this
time out: the Manu Dibango classic "New Bell"...Roy Ayers with the
Fela-inspired "Black Family"...two tracks from Hugh Masekela...a storming
closer by the amazing Letta Mbulu...and a whole bunch of other tracks you've
probably never heard! This CD has barely made it out of my car stereo for
the last two weeks, and it still hasn't worn out its welcome.
