    as a member of the "other" gender (i.e., male) i differ from my brother's
    assesment of "your revolution" in two respects. one, i don't find it "annoying
    & tiresome" (personal taste, mate), and two, it's not a remake. it is a piece
    *referencing* g. scott-heron's piece--kinda like "cherchez le ghost"...

    lastly, i'm in disagreement with both of you about the dana bryant version.
    never liked it, although i love dana bryant (remember "the jackal" on ronny
    jordan's album?). the cover i'm feeling is dj revolution's version featuring
    evidence from dilated peoples. they even sample some bits from the original!
