hmm...there is no easy way to answer this question.
Joaquin "Joe" Claussell is a legendary house producer and DJ here in New
York City. He, alongside Danny Krivit and Francois Kevorkian, run a club
called "Body&SOUL" on Sunday afternoons which has been one of the most
influential house music events in NYC. It is often called the modern-day
"Paradise Garage."
I would highly recommend the Body&SOUL compilations which are out on Wave
Records. #1 and #2 are awesome. #3 is out but I haven't heard it
yet. Joe usually has one or two tracks on those comps.
He used to be a part owner of Dance Tracks, a disco/garage record store in
the East Village but I have heard that he no longer is.

(info on Ibadan which has some Claussell info)
Joe records on too many labels...but remixes can be commonly found on Wave
Records, Yellow Productions, Nitegrooves, Ibadan, but most often on
Spiritual Life Music.
I am sure with a good search engine, you can find much more information.
