Hit up the list archives and search for reviews on the album - there
was a good amount of talk on it when it came out... the archives are

Personally, I found it to be an 4/5. There are a few BS moments, but
Jay Dee's production and Comm's rhymes are right on for most of the
journey. It's worthy of repeated listens and I would recommend it
highly. Especially good if you dig Slum Village's sound but would
like some more "socially conscious" lyrics.

    On the SCUBA note:
I have not heard the mix in question, but I generally but SCUBA
projects on sight. Britt has been pushing a fine and sensible sound
in a deep, soulful, house-like vein with all of the SCUBA tracks I
have heard, mostly in a 120 bpm range. I play these cuts with my West
London sets and they fit in beautifully.

I think the latest juicy one from Britt / SCUBA is on the Gilles
Peterson: Worldwide compilation that came out last month - it's a cut
featuring Vikter Duplaix (an EXCELLENT philly vocalist). It's
wonderful. Also check his remix of "Adore" by I:Cube out on Versatile
    records.

    Cheers,
