Speaking of hearing disabilities, I think that the current generation is
going to suffer the highest rate of hearing loss/tinitus out of any of the
past generations.. The sound systems they have these days are insane.. I
find I can't go to a party anymore unless I wear ear plugs. If you're going
out 2 to 3 times a week, I think they're a necessity.. Most of the time it
brings down the volume to an enjoyable level, but even then, I'm sure it's
still damaging.. I know a few people who suffer from Tinitus, and if it's
preventable, I'd like to avoid ending up with such a debilitating
disability. And with the kind of earplugs I use, you can't even see them.
I wonder how many other people on the list regularly wear ear plugs as
well..
