Well said, Jason! Race, color, nationality, and even ideology become tools of disection only when people choose to use them as such.
Part of the appeal of this music is seeing how different cultures are combined to produce something far richer. One of my favorite Brazilectro artists was born in Yugoslavia. A Hungarian artist has done incredible groove based on a song by The Doors. The combinations are infinite.
If folks want to limit themselves by drawing these lines, there's not much anyone can do to stop them. For me, there's far too much out there to explore to cut my own throat that way.
