the 26th of April...Last month Bonobo walked from Oxford Street to
Shoreditch (2 miles!!) due to the tube strike... Several Ninjas were
locked out so dont be a 'late arrival'. There's no strike this month
so... You been warned: Here's the full deal:
Xen Solid Steel London April 26th Cargo, Rivingtson Street Shoreditch.. EC1
April 26th sees the return of The Cinematic Orchestra for what is
their first full London show for some time (and their last for some
time, too). Mr Swinscoe and the boys in the band are frantically
studioing away to complete the second full Cinematic album ready for
release in the autumn. Tonight will the first opportunity for an
early glimpse of some of their new material. As with all their shows,
it should be a night to remember (Lucky Cat is the Cinematic
Orchestra's visual master. Together they are developing the live show
so each track moves through its own particular story with the visuals
to suit - right now this is work in progress!!!
DJing duties on the night will be Solid Steel radio show main man
DK, reviving Stealth by joining the four deck mixing tradition
alongside Strictly Kev (DJ Food). The pair, along with PC (DJ Food)
have been locked in the studio completing Ninja's forthcoming "Solid
Steel" mix compilation. You can look forward to some hints of what
to expect from that CD tonight.
The Nubient guru, Mixmaster Morris will be displaying his world wide
selections.
