    John,

Welcome to our collective wealth of esoteric knowledge and communal
addiction for all that is funky and jazzy pressed up on 12" plates. I just
got the Alex Attias and Amalgamation of Soundz mix CDs on X:treme Records
and I've been really digging them. I kind of slept on Mr. Attias work until
I discovered some of the Beatless and Mustand stuff on Ubiquity. From there
I tracked down some of his other stuff on 2000 Black as Catalyst and dusted
off my old Rollercone records and read the liner notes to realize that he
was 1/2 of that too. Check out http://www.groovetech.com/ for some of his
stuff and a whole lot more.

I'm also glad you enjoyed our "Magic City" during WMC time. I too was at
the Dego/Jazzanova/Seiji party in South Beach and you're right the music was
incredible. Very organic and melodic and oh so sweet! :)

    Peace,

    Pedro Cevallos
