just for anyone buying a vestax:
anything with an 'a' in the model no (ie pmc17a, 270a, etc) is chinese
made, the higher end models like pmc-50 and pmc-25 are japanese made
with far superior components. the sound quality difference is HUGE!
I bought a pmc-25 last year (the wide thin mixer with the huge pots for
EQ, NYC house style mixer) and the sound quality difference at home and
in clubs is amazing compared to other brands and even other vestax
models.. sound quality wise, Allen & Heath and Rane are also highly
recommended..
well worth the extra $$ anyway!
