It has been a long time. I've been submerged for a while and I'd
appreciate some help with identifying this song.
I regularly tape off the DMX Acid Jazz station. In the midst of one tape
is
the song in question. The song is mid tempo. It starts off with the
keyboardist playing notes that remind me of computer/digital tones. This
continues throughout the song including a solo. There's a female
vocalist. There's an English kid (probably Northern England) talking to
his Mum & Dad about the moors and playing football in between the verses.
The first verse goes something like this:
"I could stay this way forever,
hazy, hazy dreams I almost never,
bothering to question and whatever,
Whatver I feel, it's alright by me,
Resting easy in this flower bed,
Slowly, slowly I rest my head,
And as far as I can see, everything is alright by me"
<English kid talks>
Refrain: "And I'm still thinking about you"
Thanks,
gfrancis
