    ’s list.

    Abstract: Ming album on Hombre which has garnered rave reviews in the UK
    press, two new singles on Klein by Mum and Seelenluft, new on Comet comes
    the Psyco on the Bus single featuring Tony Allen & Doctor L, new Stereotyp
    12” on G-Stoned, more Yugoslav jazz from Cosmic Sounds and the Tone Jansa
    Quartet, new BBE compilation “Funk Rock” compiled by DJ Spinna, the Off Beat
    compilation from Pottheadz (Cash I/O and Schnute), and the People Get Up!
    compilation on Harmless is also in stock this week.

    Beats and breaks: new on Freakaboom comes Bombjacks Mars Needs Women single,
    Fumi (Jersey Street in disguise) drop a new single with a remix by Grand
    Centrals Only Child, new Meat Katie album and single, new Riton 12” on Grand
    Central, the Brain Fest 45 Lp which features all the original tracks and
    breaks used by DJ Shadow and Cut Chemist to create the Brainfreeze record,

    Drum & bass: the latest single from Outcaste’s Badmarsh & Shri , the latest
    Fellowship single out on Defunked, and the new hit single from Kosheen Slip
    N Slide is finally in with both drum & bass and 2-step garage remixes (on 2
    different 12”s).

    Hip hop: the second album from Chi-towns All Natural along with Pete Rock’s
    “Petestrumental” album on BBE’s Beat Generation label.

    House: new single from Chili Funk by Afrix remixed by Peace Division, new
    single on Black Vinyl by Brent Laurence (and we also have in the Black Vinyl
    compilation Many Shades), new Rainy City remix single by Elastic Band,
    Gringo’s “Spanish Fly” on Glasgow Underground is out this week, new single
    on Estereo by Norway’s Kyd & Kango, Problem Kids new album on Paper is out,
    and we have the new Magic Sessions 12 mix CD done by Louie Vega, Tony
    Humphries and Tedd Patterson.

    Nu jazz: the long awaited (and delayed) single “Transcend” by Afronaught is
    finally in, Hipnotic’s cover of Coltrane’s “Naima” on Laws Of Motion is in
    this week with a deep house remix by Ian O’Brien on the flip, the Jazzanova
    “Reworks From Japan” single is in with remixes from Calm and Kyoto Jazz
    Massive, new Kosma single on Infracom, an old Modaji single “End Zones” is
    repressed and re-released, the latest Mondo Grosso single “Life” is in,
    Stratospheric remixed by UFO is in from Internal Bass, Jazz In The House
    triple CD box set is here, Paradisiac 3 album is out, the Versatile Family
    Album now (finally) in on CD, and the new Wildstyle single (with remixes by
    Trio Electrico and Strike Boys) on Stereo Deluxe is in this week.

    2-step: new hotly tipped breakstep single by Double 99 now remixed by DJ
    Hype, Jennifer Lopez’s new single gets remixed by Artful Dodger, Landslide
    reworks London Elektricity’s Round The Corner on the new 12” from Hospital,
    and we have a new Wookie single with a remix by DJ Zinc.

    Other: new issues of both DJ and Jockey Slut are in this week.
