    hi all.

    many of you will probably know pavel kostiuk, through his 'brand new
    day' ep on 2000black.

    in a recently released 'crippled dick' compilation
    titled "between or beyond the iron curtain", there is the
    track 'Sextant' from a czech band called 'Impuls'. it is a
    spacey, electric jazzrock groove, with a syncopated breakbeat,
    composed by a guy named Pavel Kostiuk. it was taken from
    the 'Impuls' LP released in 1977 by Supraphon.

    is there any connection with the 2000black arist?

    the line-up of this excellent work includes Kostiuk on
    synthesizer -&- michal gera on trumpet.
