<PS caught Bebel Gilberto, Ray Valasques @ summerstage last night.
Bebel was enchanting, engaging, exotic, any other e-words you can think of!

On the flipside to your experience, I caught Funki Porcini Vs. Up,
Bustle and Out on Friday, and while their DJ skills seemed in evidence (as
far as these untrained ears could hear), I was most unimpressed by their
track selection, retro and populist. I expected to be challenged and wowed,
but ended up bored, and shaking my head for all the wrong reasons, not
getting down to the beat of "House of Pain" or other tracks that don't come
to mind at the mo. After an hour and a half or so of "appreciating" the
sounds my mate and I escaped to the land of alcohol, and made the best of a,
well looked forward to, but disappointing night.
Maybe I'm being too hard, but I expected a classier set from these
Ninja warriors, and not something that I'd expect a "Dance" DJ to knock out
on MTV.
