i posted an email here a while back about a track kirk d. played at demf
but wasn't able to point anyone to an archive...but now i can.
http://playlist.yahoo.com/makeplaylist.dll?id=913438&segment=44902
just past the 2:58 mark.
(kirk d's set starts at about the 2.42 mark actually and its great - any
other track ids would be awesome but this track is killing me)
i initially thought this was "the love" by a tribe called quest or some
variation thereof, but on relistening to it, i think the only thing in
common between the two tracks is the sample.
fyi, a friend id'd the sample for me this morning as being from a
freddie hubbard album -
