CD's in my back pack today:
Gerd - High Wide and Wonderful - downtempo to house, beautiful stuff
Truant - Neither Work nor Leisure - ditto, even nicer, a little more housey
material
Mr Hermano - Free as the Morning Sun - excellent stuff too, though 1 or 2
tracks stray a little too far into commercial "jazz" territory
This was my last order from groovedis.com. It's always hit or miss with
their stuff, since I rarely find sound samples, even on the label's website,
and you can't really trust a review, words have so many different meanings
for different people. This time every disc is a real stand out. 3 for 3...
shows is pays to gamble a little bit with mail order. I'd never find any of
these titles where I live.

P.S. I just started a mailing list for the nujazz scene in Miami (what
precious little there is) check out www.ayalounge.com/nujazz
