Try the 'Nortec experimental' EP. Same bands, no house music. lots of
messed up Noteno Samples. On a more hip-hop side, Control Machete's first
album is filled with Norteno samples. 'Lupita', for example, is all based
on Anotnio Aguilar's 'chubasco' and there are samples from Bronco an El
Limite. Very cheesy sometimes. Also, remember that a lot of mainstream
Norteno has been techno for a while now. Specially 'quebradita' which is
laid down over a very fast electronic beat.
