Mondo Grosso's MG4
MG4' is MONDO GROSSO's album that was released last July and became a
long-selling item. It was released in 23 countries around the world, and
became an instant classic.

Live material recorded by this Japanese combo -- caught at the very hip
Cafe-Apres Midi club in early 2001! The group are kind of a blend of
soul styles with traces of mid 80s British pop, and vocalis Kaori
Takeda, who sings in English, has a blue, deadpan style of singing that
reminds us a bit of Tracey Thorn of Everything But The Girl. The album
features guest appearances by members of the groups Dub Station, Natural
Calamity, and Tokyo Ska Paradise Orchestra -- and the album features
covers of the songs "My Jamaican Guy", "Rock The Casbah", "Long Hot
Summer", "Only Love Can Break Your Heart", and "De Do Do Do, De Da Da
Da". Other tracks include "Pool", "Free", "Mining For Gold", and "It's
Too Fast".
