forgive me if i may seem too 'purist', but i think this combination
(brokenbeat/ hardhouse) has no artistic/aesthetic relevance; unless
'hardhouse' is a different style than that i know of (banging 'music'
in the mauro piccotto, nick sentience, nukleuz, etc vein--absolutely
NO relation to detroit techno/electro etc). forgive me, but
'hardhouse' or 'psy-trance' or 'gabber' etc will never come close to
ANY jazz and soul-related music i know of...it's like trying to blend
oil and water--they'll just move to different levels within the pot.
