    Hi friends

    thanks for listening to

    http://www.onthecorner.fm

independent commercial and BS free radio

it's been a tough year doing this and we hope next year is going easier
if your getting this e.mail it means you either signed up for news or we're
sending you news 'cause we like what your doing and are supporting it

next year shows will be bi-weekly starting mid-January
they'll be more guest mixes - Jazzanova and Alex Attias to start and then
    more to follow

we've also got a great series of specials including a new monthly series on
    Philadelphia

in the meantime NEXT WEEK to end the year in style we've got 4 special guest
mixes - 2 from Europe and 2 from the US in keeping with our open policy

the track-listing for each show can be found on the site

show 016 - special guest mix from
    > SPACEK
UK's masterful trio blend hip-hop into shapes and with a very eclectic and
open-minded mix for onthecorner their resident DJ Jay Scarlett shows why
these guys remain on the groups to watch .... mix also includes a couple of
    Spacek's rare remixes

show 017 - special guest mix from
    > I:CUBE
France's answer to Detroit...well... I:CUBE has just released a great album
of his remixes on Versatile - he's also doing a zillion killer remixes with
Gil'br under the alias CHATEAU FLIGHT (including the unmissable remix of
Brandy for Yellow). I:CUBE joins the dots and shares our affinity for all
    things Metro Area

show 018 - special guest mix from
    > ADAM GOLDSTONE
NYC underground cat who more people should pay attention to - he's in the
lineage of NYC greats like Larry Levan - no joking ! plus he makes some of
most unique and distinctly NYC sounding music. Check his debut album LOWER
EAST SIDE STORIES on Nuphonic - this mix for onthecorner sees Adam showing
us how free and jazzy he can be but his long (6 hours plus) club sets often
ecompass everything from deep house to techno to jazz to - anyway you get
the idea - he's the only man we'd let get away with playing Dexy's Midnight
    Runners

show 019 - special guest mix from
    > MKL
Another up and coming NYC man - maybe you know his dance floor filling
anthem "Slavery Days" which was a huge hit at Body and Soul. MKL is part of
the production duo (with Soy Sos) THREE GENERATIONS WALKING (they did
"Slavery days") and we've heard bits of there forthcoming album for
Spiritual Life plus we've seen their killer live show. This plus the fact
that MKL is one of the most open minded DJs in NYC lead us to ask for this
mix. It opens with a very special surprise - the new THREE GENERATIONS
WALKING which is about to be on promo soon but you can say you heard it hear
first. Trust us this man will be big in 2002

anyway enough rambling - as always the main thing is to listen to the music

    go to the site

    http://www.onthecorner.fm/

and click on the listen section
you'll be able to access the above shows plus
the archived shows from onthecorner.fm's host and main man (me - Gamall)
    and guest mixes from

    DIXON,
    CHATEAU FLIGHT,
    LES GAMMAS,
    STEPHANE ATTIAS,
    FLUID OUNCE,
    VIKTER DUPLAIX,
    CHARLIE DARK
    and
    DJ SPINNA

If your a label and want to get down with onthecorner.fm - then let us know
who is interested in doing mixes - we're all about supporting good music and
    new talent ...
