    ::: Onioncak [http://www.onioncak.com]

Slamming beats, funky rhythms, fresh sounds, crazy samples -
Onioncak's four elements. A new sound for your ears with the focus on
the beat. Electronic percussion with sampling from a diverse range of
sources aimed at enhancing the beat. When Onioncak is in the
    airwaves, heads nod.

Born and based in Brisbane, Onioncak (Scott Andrews) has made a name
for himself with his weekly residencey on "Pulseradio.net" with his
own hip hop show, "DOPE BEATS WID ONIONCAK" (Tuesday evenings - see
schedule on website for broadcast time in your part of the world),
and his live performances around Brisbane in 2001 including numerous
    shows at Mantra.

The music's AcidFunkHipHop: Hip Hop with a twist of TripHop, Breaks
and various other influences. Six years of isolation developing the
style, his own brand of funk and now finally the world can dance,
groove and bang their heads to the slamming beats and funky tunes of
    ONIONCAK.

Being a solo hip hop beat artist with a unique creative flow, zany
prescence and a bucket load of great tracks, is enough to gain major
recognition...very quickly. His first EP "Phat Beat Feest", showcased
his more up tempo big beat style, and leapt across ot laid back,
relaxed, head nodding hip hop beats. The live act involves cut and
paste from his own tracks and mixing of beats and humourous riffs,
guest vocals, and he has also worked with MC's such as Cam Brown of
Zephyr Timbre and Julz and Danny from Kleinzeit. Throughout 2002,
people will see varying live instruments incorporated into the show
because Onioncak's music is open to a diverse range of sounds.

You can catch Onioncak playing live in the near future in Brisbane at
    Family - 3rd January 2002 (10:00-12:00pm) and Press Club - 3rd
    Febuary 2002 (7:30pm onwards)

Onioncak can be contacted via email at beatz@onioncak.com or by
    visiting his website @ http://www.onioncak.com
