So why is Black History Month so important today?
After all there are many people who think that the very concept of Black
History Month is outmoded and archaic in today's society. My brother and I
were raised in a household that held Black History as something that we hold
near and dear to our hearts. We also have come to realize that not all
households were like the one we were raised in. We think that it's important
to give Black History the proper focus during this time of year
How else will our younger people learn?
