Someone gave me the Annual 2000 as a gift. I like the first disc (mixed by Judge Jules), but not so much the second (Tall Paul). If I'm not mistaken, it's sort of a collection of all the big Ibiza tunes from the past year. A lot of cheese, but some cool tracks, and Judge Jules can really mix like a pro. I can only imagine what he could do with some more classy material.
P.S. this is also my "coming out comment," so to speak.

      Dear List,

After playing the role of the lurker since the days before the AJ T-Shirt, I finally have a question that I couldn't resist to ask. So, here it goes. I was out hunting for discs today & picked up "Ministry of Sound - The Annual 2000." I couldn't believe I've been missing the label... Or actually, the sound! The house/progressive/garage/blissful-desire-to-dance type music. Where have I been? Did I just get struck by lightening to realize what is 2-step? (I literally slept through the entire "what is 2-step" discussion.)

      I stand to be enlightened.

      Max
