I go to Czech about once a year for recordings/gigs etc and I dont get
outside these activities a lot when I'm there.
However I cant stress what an inspirational place Prague is.
Check out The Roxy and Radost.
Both clubs have a varied selection and can be quite funky depending on which
night. Roxy has some great live music too.
If you want more of an local Czech blues or ska feel (recommended) check out
Malostranska Beseda.
If you want a really nutty pub, there's one that translates literally as
"the shot out eye" -- top drinking place this one. not really many tourists!
you get the inpression there are lots of Czech musicians hanging out there.
On a jazz tip the Agharta (named after Miles' album) is quite groovy.
good luck with the pivo
