Actually, that whole Blue Man thing kind of seemed like a giant earthquake
in which all of the various lands of Disneyland collapse into one. "America
Sings" mixed in with "Space Mountain?" Shocking and horrifying, terror for
children everywhere.
But, Nena Frelon and Take 6? That was pretty cool. Macy Gray? Oh yeah, she's
the sweet hot diva with a grammy on the shelf! And D'Angelo's recognition is
much, MUCH deserved, imo.
As for the rest? I suggest that for the next grammys, all the women just
come fully nude, since we're headed in that direction anyway. Heck, why stop
with the women? The tepid classical piano interlude, Jon Stewart's mostly
annoying mc'ing, the "moving" Marshall Mathers / Reg Dwight duet, and
Michael Greene's empassioned final appeal would have been much more
interesting had they all appeared au-natural.
no jazz, no love.
