Umm, at the risk of sounding like a smart-ass, the natural,
obvious answer (Perhaps too obvious, but i'll say it
anyways) would be the soundtrack to the movie, Groove.
It's a continuous mix of slightly older house and some
trance, including the Orbital's beautiful late-summer
    anthem Halcyon On & On.

Amazon.com says: "...a compelling mix that nicely parallels
the momentum of the movie's broiling dance-floor sequences.
Starting off with some light house, then darkening his
touch into deeper, more trancing territory, Wish reaches a
zenith with Digweed's "Heaven Scent," using its soaring
    keyboard refrain as a natural peak...The movie's
director...has said he intended the film to act "as an
authentic document of a time in youth culture history"--his
movie's soundtrack is definitely that. --Matthew Cooke"

And while we're on the subject of "retro/chill disco
feeling", how about French band Air? Might I also suggest
David Mancuso presents The Loft. The opener, a totally
killer version of "Ain't no Stopping us now", is
breathtaking. And it's chill, retro, and disco!
