For my brain's health and simplicity's sake I tend to agree with the
definition laid out by John Bush. A lot of the music discussed on
this list is music that I wouldn't categorize as Acid Jazz. When I
think of Acid Jazz it's the funky rare groove sound put in a 90's
context I think of - not electronic drum n bassic / junglist dance
music on a house tip. And, I don't even want to go into the drum n
bass discussion. That's a cultural thing. British dnb is something
completely different than Jamaican dnb and so on.
