That's usually what I end up doing, since half the stock at the local HMV
tends to be miscategorized.. (just the other day I noticed they had
"Akwaaba" listed in the Soul section - hah!). So every visit ends up taking
hours while I search through nearly every CD in every section (but even then
I'm only able to search through the "Urban Music Section" - there's still
the Jazz section and world music section where a lot of other stuff gets
tossed as well.) The bottom line is that we're never going to be content
with any labels constructed to classify the music we listen to.. We should
be happy that most of it falls into categorical limbo (other than the fact
that it makes it difficult to find sometimes - I wish they'd just let me use
one of the computer terminals at the HMV so I could search for stock myself,
without having to constantly bother the salespeople, who more often than
not, _don't_ want to be disturbed).
