    heh heh heh this reminds me of the story in the liner notes to the 'classic
    electro 1' compilation about a group (newcleus?) (or is it in rap attack by
    david toop, hmm i can't remember) anyway who invented a new name for their
    music which they saw as amixture of new wave and funk. they called it nunk.

    ummm anyway has everyone forgotten that the name acid jazz was just a joke?
    i think that term is pretty much redundant these days seeing as it mostly
    referred to a specific sound / place / time ie london er 19920 (?) young
    disciples / incognito / bnh etc etc
