    so the ratings were lower than that of "The Civil War" and "Baseball" but
    are there really as many jazz fans as war buffs or sports fans. I'm not
    saying that there is no audience for jazz, but I am saying that in general
    there are probably a greater number of people who know a little something
    about sports and civil war than those who know something about, or care to
    learn more about jazz. Yes, the same guy made these documentaries but the
    audience is not universal....maybe I'm just alittle bias, but I think the
    raw numbers of the public that are *really* into *really* good music is
    smaller than that of war/sports. So in this case, do these numbers *really*
    matter?
