I thought I'd add to all the reflecting on the past year in music goin'
on :-)
Playlists will now be posted on the CKLN web site (charts & playlists
section) on the regular. Check the site for all kinds of new updates,
with many more to come. You can now listen live in Shoutcast as well as
Real Audio, and I'm working on getting online archives up asap.

The year two thou was an excellent one where quality music was
concerned, at least from where I was sitting and listening. So good, in
fact, that I couldnít mix all of my faves from the year into one three
hour showÖ.so I did two. This ëBest ofí list is highly subjective, based
upon songs, albums, compilations (and an occasional reissue) that simply
made me happy to be alive and doing what I do. These are amongst the
most played tracks/releases on Mental Chatter in the past year. Many of
them brought in phone calls and emails galore as listeners also fell in
love. I hope you enjoy the list, and perhaps discover a few new gems for
your own collections. Keep your ears, hearts and minds open. Thanks for
