Right now UD are trying to license the Zero 7 album. AFAIK they haven't done
any deals yet. The CD was the same price as a domestic release for the first
month it was out as UD had a special initial price break sales program
going..alas that program is over and the CD is back to normal (but not too
high) import prices. Even if they get a deal tomorrow the soonest I would
expect the CD to come out domestically would be late Aug/Sept so tell your
friends to bite the bullet and buy the import. We keep selling out of it but
Amoeba in San Fran should have some copies this week (or you can try
ordering some from us).

Subject: Zero7 US domestic?
I really like the LP Simple Things by Zero7 on Ultimate Dilemma, which I
think you can only buy here in the US as an import. It's a pretty good
downtempo, chill-out and listen album. But I was wondering if it was going
to get a proper US release. I've been telling all my friends about it (the
ones that say they like Portishead), and some are hesitant to shell out the
$20+ to pick it up. And, like a good consumer, I'm not too keen on making
CD-Rs. Does Ultimate Dilemma even have a distributor in the US or are they
just licensing certain acts (like the Runaways UK album on Arcade
America/three*sixty)?
Peace,
Ha
